We know the benefits of using tallow on the skin, but what about the other ingredients?

Castor Oil 

Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor plant. It is unique in its composition, containing up to 90% ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid with anti inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Castor oil has been used in traditional medicine and in skincare for centuries. It does numerous things for the skin including: moisturizes and nourishes, promotes collagen production, fights acne and blemishes, soothes irritated skin, fades dark spots and evens skin tone, reduces puffiness and dark circles, promotes wound healing, and enhances absorption of other skincare products.

🌸 Primrose Oil 

Primrose oil is an oil derived from the seeds of the Evening Primrose plant. This oil has been used for centuries as topical remedies to sooth cutaneous inflammations, bruises, and minor wounds. The oil from the primrose plant is rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, including linoleum acid and gamma-linolenic acid, which are largely responsible for its benefits on the skin. This oil has anti inflammatory properties, is deeply moisturizing, and helps even skin tone!

🌹 Rosehip Seed Oil 

Rosehip seed oil is derived from the rosa cantina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile. Unlike Rose oil, which is extracted from rose petals, Rosehip seed oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. Prized since ancient times for its healing benefits, Rosehip oil is loaded with skin nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. It contains phenols that has been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. It has many versatile benefits including: hydrating the skin, brightens skin tone, exfoliates dead skin, boots collagen formation, helps reduce inflammation, helps protect against sun damage, helps reduce hyperpigmentation, and helps reduce the appearance of scars and fine lines!

This powerhouse cleanser is a must have in every bathroom for men and women. To use, scoop up a small amount of product on your washable/reusable organic cotton pad (included with your order), and gently wash with warm water pressing the product into the skin in circular motions. Rinse cotton pad, then go over the skin once more with the cotton pad. Pat dry to help take off excess oil. Once your face is dry, apply your Whipped Tallow Balm to promote even more skin benefits!

(This product will last a long time! A little goes a long way. I have been using mine for about 3 weeks now and I still have plenty more product to go!)
